OUR APPROACH

Langdon provides care, support and opportunities that enable young Jewish adults to lead more independent, fulfilling lives. As often there are no visible signs of their disability, our people are particularly vulnerable. Without the social and educational opportunities that Langdon provides, many would simply fall into a black hole. Sidelined by social services, they would spend their adult years stuck at home with ageing parents, having little or no social interaction.

"...over 85% of Langdon residents go on to find employment, which greatly boosts their independence and self-esteem."

We have developed a unique network of supported living accommodation in London and Manchester that allows our residents to live in their own homes with varying levels of support depending on individual needs. Here people gain independence in a safe and secure environment, living as a community within a community.

Through our college in Manchester, students can enjoy a vibrant adult education curriculum through courses that include basic life skills, vocational training and NVQ accreditations.
