LEISURE AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Langdon College’s leisure and social development programmes are an important feature of College life, developing students’ self-confidence and encouraging them to build friendships. Students are able to enjoy a variety of sporting activities including football, basketball, swimming, tennis and golf. These programmes may be held at the Manchester Maccabi Centre, with which the College has a special relationship, or the local Bury Leisure Centre complex.

Other popular activities include visits to the cinema, local
restaurants, public attractions and exhibitions, theatre, tenpin bowling
and involvement in a variety of festivals throughout the year. Students
regularly attend the local synagogues and play an active part in
communal activities.
