MISSION STATEMENT
Langdon College will contribute towards an inclusive
national further education service by providing high quality further
education for young Jewish people with learning difficulties whose needs
cannot be met by local providers.
AIMS
Langdon College is committed to:
• Providing a range of inclusive quality education, training, social care, and assessment services;
• Helping students achieve
their full potential through the concept of learning as a continuing and
lifelong process and, by the promotion of an inclusive learning
culture;
• Incorporating individual
learning and training programmes tailored to our students' needs that lead to nationally recognised qualifications;
• Equipping students with the
necessary personal and life skills to enhance their quality of life and
make a positive and worthwhile economic contribution to their community;
• Implementing behavioural strategies that support students to become as independent as possible;
• Creating a caring and supportive environment that is responsive to the individual needs and wishes of each student;
• Offering students the opportunity for life-long learning and living within the College and local community;
